Joseph Farkas

CS student at Georgia Tech and software intern at NASA JPL

Pasadena, California

Hi, I’m Joseph.

I’m a CS student at Georgia Tech who loves robots, rocket science, and solving big problems. This fall I’m in Pasadena, interning at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, after a summer at Ramp in New York.

I’m in Georgia Tech’s combined bachelor’s and master’s program, concentrating in embedded systems and AI, with minors in robotics and German. Outside of class I’m vice lead for guidance, navigation and control on Propulsive Landers, a student team building a reusable rocket lander, and I still mentor my high school robotics team, FRC 1771.

When I’m not writing code, I’m usually out hiking, taking pictures of skylines or sunsets, or discovering a new city. This page is my desk, roughly as it looks. Click on things to see what I’ve been up to.

If you want to get in touch, email me at josephfarkas [at] gatech.edu.
